The Top 20 Most Dangerous Cities in Oklahoma for Fatal Car Accidents

Our Norman car accident lawyers review recent crash statistics to uncover the deadliest and most dangerous cities for Oklahoma drivers.  Is your city on the list?  You may be surprised.

Oklahoma Fatal Car Accident Statistics: Which City Ranks #1?

The following auto accident statistics, which include total crashes, crashes resulting in incapacitating injuries, and crashes resulting in fatalities, are sourced from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office (OHSO) 2014 report on city crashes, the most recent data publicly available.  The OHSO city crash report excludes Oklahoma towns and cities with populations below 5,000 residents.  OHSO receives crash data from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and various local police departments.

We ranked the driving danger in each location based on the total number of fatal crashes documented in the 2014 report.  When cities reported the same number of fatalities, we ranked the city with more incapacitating injury crashes higher on our list.  When cities were statistically tied for fatal and incapacitating injury crashes, such as Pryor and Bixby, we ranked based on which city reported more crashes overall.  The results are listed below.
