David attended the University of Oklahoma and obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology in 1975 and his law degree in 1978. He then served over four years on active duty with the United States Army as a lawyer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. During this period, he gained valuable trial experience. After leaving active duty in 1982, David continued his military career in the United States Army Reserves until 2006, when he retired at the rank of Colonel.

Most of David’s practice involves representing people who are injured as a result of negligence. His cases are in both state and federal courts. He is admitted to practice before: all state courts in Oklahoma; the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma; the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals; and, the United States Supreme Court. At times, he has been a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Association for Justice.

Although David’s practice is primarily in the injury law arena, his experience involves all aspects of civil litigation. In his initial practice of law in Oklahoma City, his emphasis was in business litigation, both for Plaintiffs and Defendants. He later found more satisfaction and enjoyment in helping injured individuals recover for their losses or damages. So, for the last twenty years, he has concentrated his practice in the areas of personal injury, insurance law, and employment law.
